Born in England in the late 1870s, the Gluggle Jug has been part of British table culture for more than 150 years. Its distinctive fish-shaped form is both functional and unmistakably iconic, producing its signature sound as water is poured.

Fill it three-quarters full to hear the original “glug-glug,” created by the jug’s sculptural open mouth. In 1958, its enduring appeal was recognised when a specially commissioned pair was presented to Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip.

Made in the United Kingdom, it is equally suited to serving water, displaying flowers, or standing alone as a considered decorative object.
