Crafted by Van Buren, a heritage maker dating to 1861, this authentic Icelandic sheepskin brings the untamed beauty and quiet luxury of the Nordic landscape into the home.

Prized for its extraordinary dual-coated fleece, Icelandic sheepskin combines long, wispy outer hairs with a dense, beautifully soft undercoat, creating exceptional volume, movement and an unmistakably luxurious texture.

Completely undyed, each hide reveals its own naturally occurring shades of silver, slate and deep charcoal. No two are exactly alike a beautiful reminder that this piece was shaped by nature, not manufactured to uniformity.

Generously sized at approximately 90–100 cm with a signature 10–15 cm long pile, drape it over a favorite armchair, soften a wooden bench, layer it beside the bed or let it stand alone as a plush floor accent.

Care: Shake outdoors regularly to restore its natural volume and use a wool comb as needed to keep the long fibers beautifully separated. Spot clean only. Do not machine wash or submerge, and avoid prolonged direct sunlight.
